Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer in America and claims about 20,000 lives annually.

Pennsylvania is a ZONE 1 Radon State. Knowing the radon levels in the home you are buying or currently occupy, can be a crucial piece of information for your health.
Radon is a deadly radioactive gas that causes lung cancer. You can't see or smell it. The only way to know if a home has a radon gas problem is to test with special radon testing equipment.
It's very important that radon testing be conducted as part of a real estate transaction. If Radon levels are above 4 pCi/L, mitigation efforts will need to be conducted which can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars.
