RADON TESTING

Radon is a cancer-causing natural radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell or taste. If present in your home, it can pose a danger to your family's health.

Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers and the second leading cause of lung cancer in America and claims about 20,000 lives annually.

WSI is licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and National Radon Safety Board.

 

Pennsylvania is a ZONE 1 Radon State. Knowing the radon levels in the home you are buying or currently occupy, can be a crucial piece of information for your health.

 

Radon is a deadly radioactive gas that causes lung cancer. You can't see or smell it. The only way to know if a home has a radon gas problem is to test with special radon testing equipment.

 

It's very important that radon testing be conducted as part of a real estate transaction. If Radon levels are above 4 pCi/L, mitigation efforts will need to be conducted which can range from several hundred to several thousand dollars.
